United 4 Safety is hosting a FREE advanced training seminar for advocates who work with domestic and sexual violence survivors. The seminar will provide training on supporting gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, queer, questioning and intersex survivors in a culturally competent, sensitive manner. The seminar will address baseline knowledge from prior training, possible scenarios for serving LGBTQQI survivors in a safe house program, possible scenarios for culturally competent community outreach, and self-care for advocates serving the LGBTQQI community.
